Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced that the country will receive up to 1.3 billion euros this year for weapons production. This was reported by the "Reuters" agency after Umerov's statement, made after a conversation with the Danish Defense Minister, BTA reports.
Denmark, Sweden, Canada, Norway and Iceland will be the first to provide support, providing a total of 428 million euros, Umerov announced on his "Telegram" profile.
„The funds will soon be directed to the production of Ukrainian weapons – artillery, drones, missiles and anti-tank systems created in Ukraine for our soldiers,“ the minister pointed out.
