The Ukrainian Air Force said this morning that it had shot down 359 of 363 drones and six of eight missiles fired by Russia overnight, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
According to the Ukrainian Air Force, the attack was mainly concentrated on the small western town of Starokostyantinov in Khmelnytskyi region, where a key Ukrainian air base is located. The area is often the target of Russian air strikes.
The Ukrainian forces said that the attack had resulted in three direct hits and that there was damage in eight different areas from falling debris from downed drones and missiles. It is not specified whether the air base itself was damaged, nor are specific locations of the affected areas in the country specified.
