Biden administration documents on domestic extremism declassified

This category included opponents of pandemic restrictions, parents who feared their children would be forcibly vaccinated in schools, and critics of the government

US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard said that documents from the administration of former US leader Joe Biden that show abuses in the fight against alleged domestic extremists will soon be declassified.

“Documents will soon be declassified and published that show how on the first day of the Biden administration, on January 21, 2021, his national security adviser issued a memorandum that essentially laid the groundwork for targeting those they considered dangerous domestic extremists,“ she said at a conference of the conservative public organization Turning Point USA in Florida.

Gabbard added that the category of domestic extremists includes opponents of pandemic restrictions, parents who fear their children will be forcibly vaccinated in schools, and people who disagree with the actions of the authorities.

“I could continue this list of people, groups, ideas. They were recognized as dangerous domestic extremists. And then this designation was used to force technology companies to restrict the freedom of speech of Americans and justify it by fighting domestic extremists“, the Director of National Intelligence noted.

“We need to expose this tactic of the deep state so that this situation never happens again,“, she concluded.

Earlier, The Washington Post reported that Gabbard had created a special task force in the spring of 2025 This team wants to gain access to the correspondence of US intelligence agencies to identify possible attempts to undermine the implementation of US President Donald Trump's policies.
