The bilateral meeting between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky will begin at 20:15 Bulgarian time.
The multilateral meeting with the participation of EU leaders will begin at 22:00, the newspaper “Roll Call“ writes, referring to the White House schedule.
At 19:00 the European leaders will arrive at the White House. At 8:00 p.m. Trump will greet Zelensky, after which they will begin their meeting.
At 9:15 p.m. Trump will greet the leaders of the EU countries, and at 9:30 p.m. they will take a group photo.
Donald Trump announced a “big day“ at the White House before the meeting with the leaders of the EU countries and Volodymyr Zelensky on the Ukrainian settlement. According to the politician, he has never held meetings with so many European leaders at the same time.
Earlier, the US president said that the Ukrainian leader could end the conflict with Russia “almost immediately”. According to Trump, Zelensky has the opportunity to do this if he gives up Crimea and the country's membership in NATO.
