Trump: My relationship with Zelensky has changed because it's not us anymore, but NATO that's paying

It takes two to tango, the US president said

US President Donald Trump said that he does not consider Volodymyr Zelensky innocent in a situation where there is no clear movement towards peace in Ukraine.

„Zelensky is not innocent either. It takes two to tango“, the American leader said at a meeting of the presidential cabinet at the White House, talking about the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.

„I always say that they should meet“, Trump added, talking about a possible meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Zelensky.

„Now I get along with Zelensky. Now we have a different relationship because we are no longer paying Ukraine anything“, the US president noted. "NATO buys all the military equipment and pays for it in full," he added.

"I have a very good relationship with President Putin. Very, very good. Again, that's a positive thing," Trump stressed.
