“Our banana trend started right here last year. Now we are starting the construction of our first banana greenhouse“, she said.
The minister said that a person who grows various plants had recently contacted the Ministry of Agriculture. “Get me a red kiwi seedling.“ Red kiwi, but it has never been grown in our country before.“ "It may seem ridiculous now, but objectively we can grow anything," Lut noted.
In November 2024, Lut reported that the Russian Ministry of Agriculture was considering growing bananas, following the example of Kazakhstan, and did not rule out such an opportunity in the future.
