China will need 8,830 new passenger and cargo aircraft within two decades, to to meet the growing demand for air travel. This forecast was made by Boeing Corporation, reports ag. Reuters.
Boeing estimates that the Chinese market will account for one-fifth of global aircraft deliveries over the next 20 years.
The Commercial Aviation Corporation of China and Boeing have agreed to expand research cooperation in the field of aviation development. In 2012, they established a joint Center for Sustainable Aviation Technologies, which focuses on areas such as green aviation, air traffic management, industry standards and operational safety, among others.
