In Russia, the minimum retail prices for strong alcohol have been increased from January 1, 2025. The price of vodka will increase from 299 (5.35 BGN) to 349 rubles (6.25 BGN) for 0.5 liters, cognac - from 556 (10 BGN) to 651 rubles (11.60 BGN). The order of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation was published on the official portal of legal information.
The document notes that the minimum retail price of brandy and other alcohol from wine, grapes, fruits, cognac, calvados, whiskey and rum distillates - from 403 (7 leva) to 472 rubles (8.45 leva) for the same volume.
For wholesale purchases of alcoholic beverages from organizations involved in their trade, but not manufacturers, the minimum price for 0.5 liters of vodka will be 299 rubles, cognac - 527 rubles, for other types of alcohol - 383 rubles.
