The US intends to provide Armenia with $145 million in aid.
„In cooperation with Congress, we intend to provide Armenia with $145 million in aid. This is the first tranche of funding to implement Trump's Roadmap for International Peace and Prosperity and the related agreements reached on August 8, by supporting investments in trade, infrastructure, critical mineral supply chains, and cross-border security“, said Brendan Henrechen, Director of the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs at the U.S. Department of State, during a meeting with Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan in Yerevan.
It is noted that Grigoryan highly appreciated the agreements reached as a result of the meetings in Washington on August 8 and expressed hope that through joint efforts it will be possible to develop bilateral relations within the framework of the memorandum of understanding signed between Armenia and the United States.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan signed a joint declaration in Washington on August 8, following a trilateral meeting with US leader Donald Trump. It includes seven points that emphasize Baku and Yerevan's desire for peace, but does not specify the details. The document notes that the parties have initialed the agreed text of the treaty on establishing peace and restoring relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and will also make efforts for its final ratification.
