Colonel Hristiyan Hristov has been appointed by presidential decree as the temporary acting director of the "Military Police" service until the appointment of a permanent director, which should take place in no more than a year, BNR reported.
Colonel Hristov was the deputy of the previous director of the "Military Police", Brigadier General Ivaylo Sotirov.
General Sotirov has been released from military service due to reaching the age limit.
