Rosen Zhelyazkov: With the vote in parliament yesterday, the government received new confidence - 1

With the vote in parliament, the government received new confidence, said Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, quoted by dariknews.bg. Yesterday, the National Assembly did not accept the fifth vote of no confidence in the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet.

"It is clear that at least 20 votes of MPs are missing for an effective vote of no confidence, so I want to thank the GERB mandate holder, the GERB leader for their support, the ITN for their support, the BSP-OL for their support and the "DPS-New Beginning", which, although not part of the coalition, support the government. We have the feeling of stability and trust in the majority in the Bulgarian parliament," Zhelyazkov pointed out.

"During the debates, we heard the same things that we have heard in recent years. However, we did not hear how the separation of powers should find support from politicians in Bulgaria. We understood that the political class is looking for a solution to the issues not in parliament, but on the street. Moreover, it seems that justice should not be sought in the courtroom, but somewhere else. We also heard that the institutions do not interact. In my opinion, the picture is different - we need stability, and we must address the problems within the framework of the constitutionally established order. There is no other way than to comply with the laws of the country in order to have the necessary platform for economic development and for meeting the needs of society - from a working economy, through income to the judicial system, "he believes.

Regarding the tension that has arisen in absentia and the exchange of remarks between GERB leader Boyko Borisov and "DPS-New Beginning" Delyan Peevski about "self-confidence", "State", "debt" and "responsibility", the Prime Minister was laconic: "The government is not the wire through which the current of political tension should pass. I think that yesterday's vote answered the question: Is there or is there no trust in the government? I believe that we benefit from such a".

"I cannot know how the ministers communicate with the parliamentary groups in the National Assembly. And I do not see any problem in this - regardless of whether with the majority parties or the opposition. This is the work of the executive branch. The separation of powers is based on the principle of mutual control and balance. Part of this is parliamentary control," said Prime Minister Zhelyazkov when asked whether the ministers report to the leader of "DPS - New Beginning" Delyan Peevski.

The Prime Minister, the Minister of Interior Daniel Mitov and the Director of the Main Directorate "Border Police" Chief Commissioner Anton Zlatanov observed a "Border Police" exercise near Sozopol, in which four ships and over 70 employees of the directorate participated.
