From today until November 28, the traffic organization will change from the 14th to the 71st km of the Hemus Motorway (AM) in Sofia Region.
Between 8:00 and 17:00, markings will be laid in stages in both lanes. During the work on the section, the necessary equipment will be deployed in the active lane, and traffic will pass in the free lanes, the Road Infrastructure Agency (API) announced.
During the same period, the markings on the first-class I-8 road in the Novi Han area, from the 89th to the 103rd kilometer, will also be renewed.

BTA recalls that at the end of October, repairs were completed on the Sofia-bound lane of the Hemus Motorway section from the village of Yana to the entrance to the capital. The renovated 8.3-kilometer section has a replaced pavement, a geogrid has been laid to reinforce it, and drainage has been improved. The section has new restrictive systems, markings, and signs.
