A fire alarm was received in the Sofia mall "Paradise" minutes ago, around 11 a.m., the fire department reported to bTV.
7 fire trucks are on site.
Here is what information the Sofia Fire Safety Directorate gave us:
On 01.05.2026 at 11:00 a.m., a signal of smoke from the roof of the Paradise mall was received at the Central Fire and Rescue Service. 7 fire brigades from the Fire and Rescue Service are traveling to the scene of the incident. At 11:13 a.m., information was received that the chimney of the “Mister Pizza” restaurant had caught fire. At 11:24 a.m., information was received that the fire had been extinguished, no evacuation was carried out. There are 2 PAs with 2 teams of 04RSPBZN left to carry out the inspection and duty.
