Specialized action of the Ministry of the Interior in the three centers for migrants on the territory of Sofia. Shortly before 8 p.m., SDVR employees entered their territory to check the persons who live there, BNT reports. According to the uniformed officers, the inspection is regular, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs reacts to every signal of irregularity that it receives.

A specialized police operation of the SDVR began shortly before 8:00 p.m. in the refugee center in the capital's "Ovcha Kupel" district. Heavily armed officers of the SDVR check whether order is being observed, whether there are outsiders in the center, whether everyone has gone home, the premises are searched for dangerous and prohibited items. As part of the operation, the structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs also use specially trained dogs.

From the center in "Ovcha kapel" one migrant was taken out due to suspicions of criminal activity, checks are ongoing.
"Our goal is to establish whether only the persons who have the right to live in these dormitories are available," said Miroslav Danailov - deputy director of the SDVR.

In mid-March, it became clear that the refugee center in "Ovcha Kupel" will be phased out. On March 14, the relocation of some of the migrants and their redirection to centers in other parts of the country began.
