The Joint Management Council (JMC) held its first meeting.
It was attended by the GERB - SDS deputy chairmen of the GERB - SDS parliamentary group Raya Nazaryan, Denitsa Sacheva and Prof. Kostadin Angelov, from the “BSP - United Left“ Deputy Prime Minister Atanas Zafirov, Minister of Labor and Social Policy Borislav Gutsanov, the deputy chairmen of the “BSP - United Left“ PG Kiril Dobrev and the deputy chairmen of the National Assembly Dragomir Stoynev. From the PG of “There is such a people“ – chairman Toshko Yordanov, deputy chairmen of the PG Stanislav Balabanov and Pavela Mitova. From “Democracy, Rights and Freedoms“ - DPS – the chairman of the PG Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dzhevdet Chakarov and the deputy chairman of DPS-DPS Valentin Tonchev.
Prof. Kostadin Angelov was elected as the first rotating chairman of the SSU, who will lead the council for a period of three months.
Today's meeting was attended by the Minister of Finance Temenuzhka Petkova and Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev as representatives of the government. Donchev was appointed to lead the work on the preparation of the general legislative and management program.
Temenuzhka Petkova informed the SSU about the financial situation of the state and the urgent need for a regular budget. The SSU met and discussed the topic with the committees in parliament so that they can work and start moving the laws forward.
The SSU unanimously approved that the decisions of the council be announced through general press releases. This approach was adopted during the negotiations to form a government, the GERB press center announced.
