So the economist and chairman of the Movement "Bulgaria can" commented on the escalation of tensions in the Middle East after Iran's attacks on Israel to Nova TV.
„The problem is that Israel is trying to drag the US into something bigger, while Washington is trying to explain to Tel Aviv that Iran had to respond to them and the retaliatory strike will be mild, with no casualties,”, commented more Iliev. We recall that Iran promised to respond to the attack on its consulate in Syria on April 1, for which it blamed Israel. Several senior Iranian commanders were killed in the attack.
The economist also commented on domestic political topics from our country. He stated that it is logical to “play on the field of the European elections” as an independent candidate from an initiative committee to present the ideas of his movement. Iliev stated that “Bulgaria can” will not take part in the vote for the National Assembly, as the time for preparation was too short.
On the occasion of the debate about the money in the state budget, Iliev noted that “both the “assembly” and the cabinets before that, made the treasury to be “in the red”.
„This is extremely dangerous. Finances must be sound. A board party has to be very careful how it spends its money. Bulgaria has a lot of money, but it spends it terribly inefficiently”, the economist was categorical.
