Julian Voinov: Inflation will continue to fall, we have chances for the Eurozone in 2025 - 1

I expect inflation in our country to continue decreasing in the coming months. Towards the end of the year we can meet the criteria and we have every chance from mid-2025 in the Eurozone. The chances are open, as long as there is no political crisis that will lead to the delay of this process. This was announced in the Euronews Bulgaria studio by Julian Voinov, economist and financier.

According to him, "two or three things that must be fulfilled by the rulers - to adopt several legislative changes, not to escalate the political crisis, which will accordingly grow into an economic one, as well as to have a good communication campaign that to reassure the Bulgarians about the adoption of the euro".

Voinov's words are also confirmed by the latest data of DKSBT. The decline in the prices of most basic foodstuffs, fruits and vegetables on the exchanges in the country continues this week as well, according to the data in the weekly bulletin of the state commission.

The market price index (MPI), which reflects the movement of wholesale food prices in our country, decreased by 0.18 percent to 2,260 points during the week. Last week the ITC was at the level of 2,264 points. The base level of ITC - 1,000 points, is from 2005
