In the first episode, we learn that in Bulgaria there is a big smuggler with the nickname of a great physicist, of whom almost no one had heard, but the services knew that he had been breaking the law for 30 years. Something like Carlos the Jackal on cigarettes, Don Corleone on shooting ranges, Lucky Luciano from “Captain Andreevo”.
In the second episode, his “councillors“ – father and son who loved to take pictures with people in power and give them expensive gifts, as the prosecution claims.
In the third episode it becomes clear that these two people were friends with the Bulgarian Corrado Catani – the Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Zhivko Kotsev, who took them to the home of Boyko Rashkov, to present him with a rare painting by an unnamed Bulgarian artist, in which there is a diaper. Delighted, the audience sighs at the depth of the emotional moment.
In the fourth episode, the curtain is lifted that maybe Rashkov took them and introduced them to Minister Kalin Stoyanov, and meanwhile the Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continued to hang out at spa complexes and airports, where he was even given an expensive watch.
In the fifth episode, a woman also appears on the scene, because the first attempt at a strong female character was very short and the head of customs was removed from the beginning. On the other hand, it cannot be without a strong female image.
The former Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova appears in the shot, who can also be seen in the photo with the infamous watch, which experts say was sold for a lot of money.
Meanwhile, another storyline is developing. Frightened, the Bulgarian Corrado Catani, chief secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, realizes that perhaps he should not have accompanied the father and son with the picture and asks the Bulgarian Falcone, the number 1 prosecutor of the state, for a deal – clock, testimony and resignation against immunity.
What happened is really not very clear. According to some episodic characters, he was forced, and according to others – he himself called the prosecutor's office in a panic. Here comes the direct association with classics in the genre such as “Hello, Hello”, because in the shot we see a phone and many calls. The testimony of protected witness number 3, who was probably the chief secretary, also appears.
And just when viewers are beginning to wonder how and where these photos and testimonies appear, the main character enters the scene – The poodle. Like a real octopus, a real hydra, the brown beast frolics among wads of money.
It not only hangs around, but also feeds on them. It then sits meekly among various characters in the plot, with a fake cute muzzle. However, as a real head of the mafia, the Poodle was filmed among large sums and all the actors in the episodes so far, who continue to accuse each other of who was closer to the father and son.
Whose is the Poodle? This is the wrong question. The correct one is who are Poodle's poodles? And here an association with dwarves and notaries appears. Genius directorial decision, I admit.
