Peter Volgin will be second in the list of MEPs of “Vazrazhdane”. Leader of the leaves of “Revival“ is the People's Representative Stanislav Stoyanov.
He explained that the party wants the EU to return to its role as a cultural and economic community.
„There is no way we can handle it alone in the EP, there are other sovereignist organizations like ours that insist that the EU return to its roots”, Kostadinov also said.
He stated that a petition will be submitted to the EP on the very first day after the European elections.
„And it should be voted on in the European Parliament, so that a referendum can be held on whether Bulgaria can enter the Eurozone or not. We collected 604,000 signatures last year, which were trampled by the majority in parliament and the Constitutional Court. We hope to move this petition through Brussels and Bulgaria will finally agree to the laws of its own country," commented the leader of "Vazrazhdane".
In his words, the EU is preparing for a reform that his party does not approve:
„Von der Leyen said that the EU should be reformed and that decisions should not be made based on the consensus of all member states. Therefore, if a country does not agree, it means that its opinion will not be accepted. It will be taken on the basis of a qualified majority. This is no longer a union, but a dictatorship.“
