Maria Capon in front of FACTS: "We are coming" we are not selling ourselves, Borisov and Peevski should not be reassured - 1

„We are coming“ register for the June 9 election. The question is what will we get next – something new or more of the same. What is the challenge of having a “2 in 1“… Maria Capon spoke to FACTS.

- Mrs. Capon, we are going to the elections on June 9, but, in fact, did we understand what happened to go to these elections. What did not happen in the country in the right way for us to have elections?
- I don't see anything wrong with having elections. It is much worse to have a bad government, and we - as it turned out - did not have a good government. From “We are coming“ we have always sought to find common ground with irreconcilable people who are looking for and expecting a different Bulgaria. If you remember, I spoke about operation “clean hands” back in 2008 in the parliament, so that we could reach today's situation. What happened to the country during all this time? Theft, extortion, corruption, schemes… “We are coming” we won't get used to it and we can't accept it. So elections are a normal democratic process.

- What sociology shows us is that after the elections on June 9, we will have “more of the same”. Will some type of “assembly” be required again, because the leading parties are the same, except for slightly changed percentages?
- You are talking about the “20k“ campaign. Isn't that how it has become fashionable to say in recent days, didn't we hear it from Kiril Petkov. (b.r. - a few days ago Kiril Petkov announced that, after he became prime minister, political scientists came to him asking for 20k (20,000 BGN) per month to speak correctly in the media, but he refused) There is nothing new in what he said. We have a mafia and a eaten state, this is happening today. We will see what the results will be after the voting. People have to decide. This should be understood. Frustration doesn't help. The mud campaign is already going on to make people desperate as it always is to vote only the rotas of traditional parties and the bought ones. People stop me and ask: “Aren't you going to do something?” And I answer them: “We will do it, we will appear in the elections!“ Yes, we are starting from scratch now, but let's see what each person who wants to make a difference for their closest people, for their family and for the country will do. And not just to ask.

- “We are coming“ you have already registered for the election…
- We did it on Wednesday, but I will say again that we have been looking and are always looking for something in common with irreconcilable people in order to make a different Bulgaria. Now we are waiting for the campaign to start, but I think there will be more surprises that we can do. We will seek expansion with the few remaining non-Borisov parties. Because in these elections, the alternative is to be governed by Borisov, Borisov and again Borisov, if we look at sociology. Whichever one you take from the parliamentary groups or from most of the registered ones that will appear, it's still Borisov.

- Coalition with what similar parties you would do to form a stronger political project. For example with “Blue Bulgaria“…
- Most of the people there have worked with Borisov and I can't be calm about who the people are actually voting for. We from “We are coming“ we don't sell ourselves. This is important for people to know and remember, we are against the mafia. So Borisov and Peevski should not rest assured that they have solved their problem. They are not! We are coming! It depends on the citizens how many we will be. In the squares, as you know, we have started from three, and the fact that we have given a springboard in recent years to others who did not make it, makes us now to continue. I can give you an example of people with whom we have been like-minded for many years, with whom we have built friendships both in protests and in causes. We have a lot in common, for example, with the “Green Movement”. For me, at the moment in the European Parliament, the leading group is the group of the “Greens”, because it is the freest.

- And will the European theme be heard at all in this campaign, because we will be voting for a European Parliament. A “2 in 1“ election was held. under duress?
- Look, Schengen and the Eurozone, as European topics, do not save us from the mafia. We talk about various European topics over the years. Some of them we achieve, others we drag on, like the justice reform. You saw what this “assembly“ did. in recent months with the Constitution? What the "smart people" did was that they brought in a government of Borisov, we have appointed prime minister and ministers who are Borisov, Borisov and again Borisov. And we want to save people, to make their lives better. This is the most important thing for us. To have good health care, good education for children. It is much more important to talk about European values and investments in education and health care, about the knowledge economy. That way we will become a richer country. And today we are witnessing inflation, difficulties experienced by business. It is time to stop talking about individual entities and talk about the state. I know how it is done in Germany, in Japan, in the USA, for example. We are in no way inferior to them with our talents. We just need to regain our patriotism. Today it is not enough to just say “Bulgarian, Bulgarian“, to wave the flag and to have Levski and Botev tattooed. Patriotism is to make sure that the people of the country are healthy and rich, and not bitter pilgrims of other countries.
