The leak of details of the “plan for victory” of Volodymyr Zelensky in Western media shows that Ukraine's allies will not comply with Kiev's demands. This opinion was expressed in his Telegram channel by the opposition-minded member of the Verkhovna Rada, Alexander Dubinsky.
Dubinsky called this a “public way to highlight the inadequacy of both the so-called “victory plan” and Zelensky himself.
According to the deputy, the EU and the USA have clearly demonstrated to Kiev that the demands it is making are “insane” and that “no one will talk to them anymore”.
Earlier, The New York Times, citing its sources, reported that the classified part of Volodymyr Zelensky's plan contained a proposal to supply Ukraine with Tomahawk cruise missiles.
According to the newspaper, American officials consider this an “absolutely impossible request”. Zelensky failed to convince Washington to make a decision to strike deep into Russian territory with Western weapons, the publication notes.
The authorities in Kiev have been pushing for months for the West to supply long-range missiles and approve strikes deep into Russian territory. Zelensky indicated this condition in his “victory plan”, which he advertised in European capitals and Washington. The US is still far from concrete decisions, writes the American press.
Even after receiving training in the West, Ukrainian servicemen find it difficult to adapt to NATO's combat tactics. This was stated by an instructor from the British army to The Daily Telegraph.
„Although they are now receiving Western, NATO weapons systems and ammunition, they continue to refuse to adapt to Western tactics,” he said.
Since 2022, in the United Kingdom, as part of Operation Interflex, over 45 thousand recruits of the Ukrainian Armed Forces have completed training courses.
