The inevitable factor for forming a government is GERB and they should be allowed to hold talks on governance. If conditions are set in advance, there may be no government. Once again, a small potential partner twists the former's arms to breaking point. This was stated by former deputy from GERB Radomir Cholakov in the program “ More from the day“ on BNT, quoted by novini.bg.
Borisov recognized this and declared that he would not compromise. I do not think that GERB will implement the program of the next political force, whoever it may be. No one asks what GERB voters want. They want GERB to show the character of an independent political force, Cholakov added.
When asked whether Borisov is dependent on Peevski, Cholakov answered categorically: “No”. The most reasonable political behavior is to put GERB's program on the table and say: “Let's not blackmail us anymore”, urged the politician.
"These three laws must be passed once and for all in order to proceed further and to fill the bodies. GERD allows itself to be misled. Behind these laws, which are repeated like a mantra, even if they are accepted, nothing will change. "GERB sometimes gets stuck on small things, but compromises on big ones," said Cholakov.
"More and more since yesterday there is talk of a minority government. I don't see why everyone shouldn't support such a government. It must act on principle in all its actions. It has no right to play, compromise and error. The general opinion is that Mr. Boyko Borisov can handle the task of being Prime Minister, he has done it before. He has proven that he has political acumen," the former deputy from GERB pointed out.
"I think that this mistrust that has accumulated in Bulgarian society against the electoral process must be radically overcome. After so much talk about violations, one of the constitutionally authorized bodies should request the annulment of the elections. Maybe there's a reason for that. Why are we afraid? Let's walk the road and see what the truth is!", said the politician.
Cholakov called on the people's representatives to return the powers of the president so that he can appoint the caretaker government. It would be more dignified for the NC to admit its mistake and correct it.
