„Blue Bulgaria” is an application for a new style and for a new leadership, which is missing in Bulgarian politics, Prof. Vili Lilkov said at a press conference at the National Press Club of BTA in Vidin.
We registered a coalition “Blue Bulgaria” for participation in the parliamentary and European elections on June 9 with the desire to unite the fragmented right. We managed to unite eight political parties, which is a serious success for us, he added.
In his words, “Blue Bulgaria” is a response to what is happening in Bulgarian politics. One of the statements of the coalition is that we will not allow the DPS and Delyan Peevski to fulfill the leadership role and set the political agenda of the Bulgarian society in the future parliament, Prof. Lilkov added. We will lend a hand to "We continue the change - Democratic Bulgaria" for judicial reform, which remained unimplemented. We will support constitutional changes if they have to be done again, but not in the way they were done in recent years, he specified.
Coalition “Blue Bulgaria“ registers the list of candidates for people's representatives in the Vidin constituency. The leader is Prof. Vili Lilkov, who presented the list. In second place is the master's degree in “Social Management” and a long-time employee of Vidin Municipality in the “Addiction Prevention” Krasimira Eliseeva.
Dr. Valeri Velkov is in third position. He works as the head of the “Healthcare“ in the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency in Vidin and is a municipal councilor in the Municipality of Dimovo.
Fourth in the list is Dr. Violeta Dochkova – long-time director of the Vidin hospital, who is currently the head of the branch for emergency medical care in Belogradchik.
In fifth place is the master of economics Dimitar Tonev. He is a former deputy mayor of the municipality of Belogradchik, head and former head of the “Labor Bureau” in Belogradchik. Married with two children and two grandchildren.
Next on the list is Dr. Margaret Dimova, who graduated from the Medical Academy and works as a vascular surgeon in Sofia.
In seventh place is Verislava Pandolfini, who graduated from the Southwest University “Neofite Rilski”.
Prof. Lilkov clarified that the list is balanced by gender and professions, there are representatives from the municipalities of Belogradchik, Dimovo and Vidin. According to him, the elected people's representatives from “Blue Bulgaria” from the region undertake a commitment and responsibility for full interaction and work with the municipal administrations, the regional governor and all institutions in the Vidin region.
