52-year-old woman from Burgas from the residential complex "Vazrazhdane" tried to commit suicide and was dissuaded for hours by firefighters, police officers and specialists from the Institute of Psychology of the Ministry of the Interior, reports iskra.bg.
The site also published photos that show that the woman was literally hanging by one hand from the terrace on the fourth floor of a cooperative on "G.S. Rakovski" street. It is about a single mother of one child who was not registered in the psychiatric dispensary.
Experienced a temporary mental breakdown during which she almost ended her life. Yesterday afternoon, the woman from Burgas announced her strong desire to jump from the terrace.
She was noticed by a neighbor, to whom she told that she was thinking of killing herself. Firefighters, an ambulance and teams from the Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Burgas were immediately called to the scene, and the conversations with the woman lasted for hours.
She did not show aggressive behavior and at one point, she was calmed down by the psychologists, after which she returned to her apartment. It is unclear where her child was at the time. At this stage, the reasons that prompted her to attempt suicide have not yet been clarified.
The police emphasized that the woman's condition was momentary and stressed with relief that the incident did not end tragically.
