The official car of Deputy Mayor Ivan Stoyanov almost runs over a person on a pedestrian crossing in the center of Plovdiv. The driver stops, opens the door and starts arguing with the pedestrian. The scandalous incident was reported by Plovdiv24.bg, which referred to information from witnesses of the incident.
The scene took place yesterday on "Preslav" street. in front of "Aleko Konstantinov" school. A witness claims that Stoyanov himself was driving, otherwise he would have no way of knowing whose car it was.
"I don't have such a situation. Yesterday the drivers of the municipality came to change my tires" Stoyanov categorically stated to a journalist from the media.
The deputy mayor ordered an internal investigation to determine who was driving his vehicle. According to him, it was the municipality's mechanic who went to change the winter tires to summer tires. The pedestrian jumped out suddenly and he did not see him. The employee denied that there had been an argument. Through the media, he apologized to the pedestrian for the unpleasant situation.
