Kiril Vatev: Glavchev told me that what I want will not happen - 1

There is no need to create fodder for gossip. This is how the former acting Minister of Agriculture Kiril Vatev commented to bTV about his release from the acting government of Dimitar Glavchev, quoted by news.bg.

He explained that he did not remain as a legacy in the caretaker government, but was invited by caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev. "He told me that I would be used politically, and I did not look at that, as I wanted to continue the bills that are fundamental for Bulgarian agriculture. These draft laws will continue, but will the National Assembly vote on them?", Vatev is not sure.

Otherwise, his resignation was requested quite consistently and lawfully. "Mr. Glavchev called me and told me that what I want cannot happen," said Kiril Vatev.

In his words, many people abused his trust. "I'm asking you to close the topic, because it's not interesting to anyone, and it's boring to me," Kiril Vatev urged.

He specified that he has excellent relations with the new Minister of Agriculture Georgi Takhov.

Kyril Vatev, however, stated that he will not return to politics. He does not like the argument - what is happening in native politics with party loyalty.

On the situation in Bulgarian agriculture, Vatev pointed out that Bulgaria imports the most milk from Hungary. In Bulgaria, the forcible nationalization of agriculture led to a great disconnection of people from the land, pointed out Kiril Vatev.

"The bell should be rung, the alarm should be sounded and it should be shown that we can no longer rely on imports,'' urged Vatev. He called on the politicians, who are fighting for votes in the elections, to realize where the country is and in what state the Bulgarian agriculture is.

He believes that there was political interference in the protests of native farmers. The goal - to create instability and tension in the government. The two constructive protests ended with agreements. The overly ambitious "Green Deal" created a problem throughout Europe and the entire agricultural sector, Kiril Vatev also said.

He added that Bulgarian agriculture will suffer until politicians realize that there is a risk of famine.
