At least BGN 1,080 should be the minimum wage from next year. The amount is expected to be such as to reach the minimum remuneration, which should be 50% of the average salary in our country. In one of the poorest regions in the country - Montana, a campaign has started in connection with higher incomes.
"BGN 1,080 is not enough for people to live normally, because after deductions the salary is BGN 838, and the poverty threshold is BGN 526," said the regional coordinator of KNSB Maria Lazarova on the air of "Your day" on NOVA NEWS. She pointed out that a single person should receive a salary of BGN 1,454 net, and for a family with one child and one working person, the amount should be BGN 2,616. Lazarova specified that the data were from a study by the KNSB.
The expert explained that the campaigns are held in all municipalities of the Montana region.
