Ivaylo Valchev: The only way for a representative of the opposition to get into the EP is these elections - 1

The only way a representative of the opposition, with a different mindset, to will get into the European Parliament. This is what the candidate for MEP from "There is such a people" Ivaylo Valchev said

„I want to become an MEP so that our ideas and those that are in response to what people want can be expressed. To know that there will be someone out there who will think like them. The longer answer that people need to understand why it is important to vote in these elections is that they are the only way in Europe to get people elected directly by the people,” said the candidate for MEP.

According to Valchev, Bulgaria should remain a member of NATO. “The question is, what would you replace it with? What would guarantee the security of our country? Our membership in NATO is a guarantee that, obeying NATO's alliance policy, Bulgaria will not be drawn into any self-serving initiatives of third countries, he added.

„There is such a people” is absolutely against the effective sending of Bulgarian soldiers to Ukraine to participate in this conflict," Valchev said.

Ivaylo Valchev stated that he considers it possible to renegotiate the “green deal”. “It is not a single document. These are separate policies that are bundled into several laws. We believe that the parts dealing with carbon emissions and sustainable industry – where the Bulgarian complexes are to be closed can be reconsidered. Bulgaria can keep some 30,000 jobs and its industry, he added.

One of the points in Valchev's program is the stopping of homosexual propaganda among society. “I must apologize for that wording. I apologize for the way it was phrased by some hasty editor. I specify – we do not dispute the right of anyone to experience themselves as they see fit. We don't look under people's sheets. "What we will fight against is propaganda among children, adolescents and students," Valchev emphasized.
