The KNSB does not agree with the idea of the Ministry of Health - that the basic salaries of doctors, nurses and paramedics should be preserved for another year.
This was announced by the BNR.
The union remains in protest readiness and expects the employers' organizations to present an analysis of the possible salary growth for the individual categories of medical personnel.
Interim acting manager of the Health Fund, Momchil Mavrov, told BTA that due to the lack of a valid collective agreement, the fund cannot impose sanctions on hospitals for non-insured minimum wages.
The Ministry of Health proposes that the minimum thresholds of BGN 2,000 for a doctor, BGN 1,500 for a nurse and BGN 910 for an orderly remain in effect for another year. These are values from the collective labor agreement for health care that expired in April.
The KNSB, however, does not agree with fixing such a term in the conditions of difficult negotiations with employers.
Agreement on such has not yet been reached, and employers' organizations continue to demand the abolition of fines for hospitals which, for objective reasons, cannot provide the minimum agreed wages for their staff.
