Children's Hospital "Prof. Ivan Mitev" will receive a new high-tech pediatric ambulance for Children's Day, June 1.
This was announced by the BNR.
The ambulance costs BGN 413,000. The funds for the specialized vehicle and the equipment were donated by the Kozloduy NPP.
There is a portable incubator in the ambulance. It is the first of its kind in our country, which can be used in ambulances, helicopters and hospitals.
"This is a top-of-the-line off-road pediatric ambulance. Currently, we do not have such an alternative in Bulgaria. This is a step forward in modern child care," commented Vladimir Dryanovski, executive director of the supplier company, to BNR.
Currently, at least 10 such ambulances are needed in Bulgaria, Vladimir Dryanovski believes.
He specified that the car is capable of overcoming difficult terrains.
