This was stated by the People's Representative Krasimira Katincharova, who, together with Ivelin Mihailov, made a statement on the "Free Voice" Facebook page, broadcast by BTA. The leadership sits in one room, the deputies in another. What prevents us from working is the lost trust between us. We are obliged to continue working for those who sent us there, said the deputy.
A meeting of the parliamentary group of “Velichie“ is expected later today. According to Katincharova, the division occurred almost immediately after the election of the group's leadership. Ivelin Mihailov announced today that there is a recording that he was threatened by the chairman of the parliamentary group of the party Nikolay Markov. In the subsequent statement, together with MP Katincharova, Mihailov did not show the recording, but confirmed that he was asked to give up “Velichie”.
Katincharova announced that support for a program government was never discussed in their parliamentary group. We recall that such a request was made by the chairman of the parliamentary group Nikolay Markov, who during the consultations on forming a government , stated that they offered the president the realization of a government with a clear program management.
We never planned to vote for a program government, commented the deputy. Regarding the leadership of the group, Katincharova added that it mainly included MPs from Sofia and Darin Georgiev from Plovdiv, while the rest remained on the periphery. The people in the management are connected by long-standing friendship, Katincharova explained. Before we entered the parliament, our biggest enemies were GERB and DPS, and inside suddenly “Revival“ became our biggest enemy, because because of their ill-mannered behavior in the plenary hall, we are set against each other, added Katincharova.
„With all the uncertainty and lack of confidence in our group and the growing distrust among our constituents outside, I don't know anymore if this isn't some kind of plan. I see that Mr. Markov is changeable in his position, because not only I, but also my colleagues find a discrepancy between the words of our meetings with the people and his deeds inside the parliamentary group, she said.
