The two people's representatives from the DPS from the Montana region Dimitar Avramov and Nadia Petrova supported the GERB-SDS broadcast for Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov. They voted according to conscience, Dimitar Avramov reported for BTA.
He added that there was no order in the DPS group to vote "for" or "against" Zhelyazkov's office and everyone decided according to their conscience. He and Petrova have decided to support the government proposed by GERB-SDS, since during the pre-election campaign at the meetings with the voters, everyone asked for a regular government and for the DPS MPs elected from the region to work for this.
There is no tension in the structures of the DPS in the Montana region, nobody has lost trust, Dimitar Avramov specified.
At a session of the Parliament yesterday, the candidacy of Rosen Zhelyazkov, nominated by the GERB-SDS parliamentary group, for Prime Minister was rejected in the plenary hall with 98 votes “for“, “against“ - 138 and two – “abstained”. A total of 30 members of the DPS were "for" and 14 - "against", one abstained.
