"My respect and reverence for the Honorary Chairman of the DPS is endless and I declare most responsibly that my will was to follow his guidelines, which is why I have informed the Speaker of the National Assembly with a request to reflect the vote I actually cast.
I fully support the wise guidance of Dr. Ahmed Dogan in these times of crisis for the DPS and I firmly state that I stand by his instructions.", the DPS MP said.
Erduan Mehmed is married, with one child.
He completed his higher education at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia. In 2018, he defended the scientific and educational degree "doctor".
The candidate for mayor of DPS is a long-term employee of KCM 2000 AD. He was a municipal councilor in Kuklen for two terms. In the last local elections in 2023, he was a candidate for mayor of Kuklen. The vote was won already in the first round by GERB with 51% of the votes.
