The former regional leader of the DPS in Varna Sali Tabakov and his father-in-law Zahir Osmanov are released. This was decided by the Sofia Court of Appeal, NOVA reported.
The two, together with the chief secretary of the Ministry of Education, are accused of making unprofitable deals for the supply of school buses. The second charge against Sally and Osmanov is money laundering. But according to the court, there is no evidence against the two.
We remind you that Tabakov and Osmanov were arrested at the end of June during an action by the Anti-Corruption Commission. After the arrest, Tabakov was removed from the position of leader of the DPS in Varna.
