The official prime minister fired the deputy chairman of the State agency "Technical operations"/DATO/ Dimitar Kostov because of information from the services, it happened clearly under parliamentary control. Kostov's removal itself took place on June 20.
The second argument for the change is the experience of the prime minister himself, since both of them and the deputy head of DATO were colleagues in the Audit Chamber.
On April 1, the deputy chairman of DANS, Petar Petrov, was also released from the PP. In the proposal of the head of DANS, Plamen Tonchev, it is stated as an argument that the employee in question "with his behavior casts doubt on the requirements for compliance with the principles of political neutrality".
Venko Sabrutev from PP asked why Glavchev did not also release Denyo Denev as deputy chairman of DANS.
"I have dismissed the vice-president, for whom a proposal was received from the chairman of DANS, and it was reasoned," explained the acting prime minister.
In his words, there is nothing more logical for a supra-party government such as the official one to replace a deputy chairman of the services with an expired mandate or at the suggestion of the leadership.
