Political scientist: There cannot be a truce between Ahmed Dogan and Delyan Peevski. The stronger will eat the weaker! - 1

There cannot be a truce between Ahmed Dogan and Delyan Peevski. The stronger will eat the weaker. If it doesn't fall apart, it will be clear who the strong man is. Without making a definite prediction, I think that Peevski will need to lose weight urgently.

This is how the political scientist Petar Cholakov commented on the air of "Darik Radio" the rift in the DPS parliamentary group of recent days.

According to Cholakov, if the DPS group does not break up, the second mandate will go to them, expressing confidence that it will still remain whole.

“If it doesn't fall apart, it will be clear who the strong man is. Without making a definite prediction, I think that Peevski will have to urgently lose weight”,

Cholakov said.

Legal expert Ivan Bregov analyzes the processes in the political parties in our country. He pointed out that on the Bulgarian political scene the parties are formed around their leader.

“When the parties are leadership, this is the model of the clientelistic party. It is often formed around the leader without a stable internal party life. If there is a clear leader without a clear structure, things become clientelistic.

The Bulgarian political model is clearly shaped around leaders – Dogan, Peevski, Kostadinov, Kiril Petkov, Asen Vassilev,

before that, Hristo Ivanov and somewhere there were two parties with good internal political dynamics – it was DSB, which already has some grudges, and the other Atanasov turned it into a grudge from a political party. And the other party was the BSP, which had a lasting one-century political life, and Cornelia Ninova managed to see its account for 7 years and turn it into a sunset of leadership,”, Ivan Bregov said.
