Ivan Takov was registered in the Registration Agency as the chairman representing the BSP City Council in Sofia. Thus, as of today, he is completely legitimately back in the position to which he was elected at the last electoral City Conference, held in April 2022.
Ivan Takov submitted documents for entry into the BULSTAT register last week, after receiving the official decision of the All-Party Control Commission (OPKK) in the BSP. The members of the Party Court met on June 29. Then they examined all received signals of violations and lack of quorum at the National Council plenum, held on February 25, 2024. It was on him that the pre-term cycle of reporting and elections in the City Organization of the BSP in Sofia and Burgas was imposed.
At the OPKK meeting, the members unanimously decided that the legitimate administration of the BSP City Organization in Sofia is the one that existed until February 25, 2024. In the minutes of the meeting, the findings of violations were described in 19 points. Among them there is gross violation of statutory rules and falsifications.
After the decisions of the OPKK, Ivan Takov immediately held a meeting of the legitimate Chairman's Council in BSP - Sofia.
"In the late afternoon today, I have convened a meeting of the legitimate Executive Bureau of the BSP - Sofia, and in the following days there will be a City Council, said Ivan Takov. - From the meeting of the National Council on June 15, the cycle of reports and elections in the party is underway, and we have no time to lose. We must enable the main party organizations to start holding meetings in order to meet the deadlines. We have a lot of work to do, so I have neither time nor desire to go back. My goal is to calm down the City Organization as soon as possible and concentrate all our forces in constructive actions, instead of wasting them in intrigues and petty interpersonal conflicts.
