From this afternoon, the fight against the fire near the village of Voden in Strandja will be found included two Spanish firefighting planes and four helicopters. Before that, acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev and Minister of Internal Affairs Kalin Stoyanov met with the Turkish firefighters who are helping their Bulgarian colleagues.
The Prime Minister announced that the containers for those who lost their homes in the fires are already on their way and will be installed as quickly as possible.
A total of 15 containers will be delivered to the villages of Voden and Kraynovo, acting Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev announced during his visit to Voden.
He also said that while the fire was near the village, there was no way to deliver living containers, despite the need:
"At any rate, the wagons are here, they could not, on the other hand, have been sooner in the settlement, as there is a principle that until the fire is under control, wagons cannot be provided, and is understandable."
Minister of the Interior Kalin Stoyanov announced that the installation of the containers will begin immediately.
"I assure you that today - by the end of the day, here on the territory of the village of Voden, maybe also in Krainovo, as it is decided, we will start with the most needy first, the first containers will be placed and until the end on the day I hope they will have current communication, absolutely everything.
Minister Stoyanov expressed hope that the people or factors responsible for the fires in the country will be found:
"I hope, I hope we will succeed. But arson is actually one of the most difficult crimes to prove under the Criminal Code. This is what I think people who are engaged in investigation should know.
I said several times - the most important thing is to control the situation, to end everything.
As this does not mean that at the moment there is no work, purely procedurally, it is being worked on, there are proceedings initiated. At least we will get there and we will have a direction from where and how this thing happened, but my personal opinion is that this is again an act of carelessness - whether it is carelessness, whether it is arrogance, that is another question.
With the inclusion of Spanish planes in the fight against the fire, it is everyone's hope that the fires will be extinguished and localized today, the interior minister also commented.
