Tsvetan Vassilev: The attack against KTB was preceded by racketeering by Delyan Peevski - 1

The former majority owner of the bankrupt KTB bank Tsvetan Vasilev accused the chairman of the PG of the DPS Delyan Peevski of racketeering, report from the BNR.

Vassilev published his claims on his personal blog, claiming that he sent these facts in a letter to Nadezhda Yordanova from “Yes, Bulgaria” and members of the Temporary Commission to investigate the activities of the groups around Petyo Petrov-Euroto and Martin Bojanov-Notary.

"The attack against KTB was preceded by racketeering by Delyan Peevski. The racket was also expressed in writing through his trusted lawyer Alexander Angelov”, Vassilev claims.

It came to this point after he asked to end his business relationship with Peevski.

During his online hearing in the commission, held in mid-August, Tsvetan Vassilev announced that Peevski's obligations to the bank were for BGN 500 million

Earlier today, on the sidelines of the parliament, Delyan Peevski denied that he and his related companies have liabilities and stated that if such were discovered, he would waive his parliamentary immunity.

Yesterday, the former PP-DB MP Ivaylo Mirchev said that the information received by Tsvetan Vassilev was sufficient for the chief prosecutor to request Peevski's immunity.
