A driver with a suspended license and after use of alcohol caused an accident on the road between the village of Draganovo - D. Oryahovitsa. He was driving his child, who suffered a fractured leg in the impact. The accident happened around 11:00 a.m. on Unification Day.
According to initial information, two cars collided, and the driver of one was sitting behind the wheel with 2.79 percent of alcohol and with a revoked driver's license. His child, who was injured in the accident, was traveling with him. He was transported to hospital with a fractured leg.
A family of four with two children was traveling in the other car, they were also taken to hospital. It is being determined whether they have any injuries, the police told BTA.
API reported that traffic is restricted on the road between Dolna Oryahovitsa – and the village of Draganovo because of an accident. They urged motorists to drive with caution and appropriate speed along the detour route: Dolna Oryahovitsa – Yantra – Polikraishte – Gorna Oryahovitsa and vice versa. Traffic is regulated by the "Traffic Police".
