The next elections will be at the beginning of October, and until then Dimitar Glavchev will be acting prime minister again. He made such a prediction in the studio of “Hello, Bulgaria” the professor of constitutional law Prof. Plamen Kirov.
„We are going to elections, as the second mandate will be returned today, and the third mandate cannot be implemented in a situation where the first and second parties are not talking to each other. There is no parliamentary dialogue to consolidate a majority around the third folder. With us, the election process is two months. From today, the president has 7 days to decide who to give the third mandate to. After that, this parliamentary group has no deadline to try to form a government. It can delay the process”, he explained.
“Raya Nazaryan drops out, along with the governor and deputy governors of the BNB. You see what is happening with the ombudsman and the deputy ombudsman. We are facing repetition. We will have the new old acting prime minister in the person of Glavchev”, Prof. Kirov also said.
When asked, in view of what is happening in the DPS, could there be legal chaos related to the registration of lists for possible elections, he answered as follows:
„It seems to me that things will calm down in view of the upcoming elections”.
