A 47-year-old man died in an occupational accident. This was said by the director of the Labor Inspection-Blagoevgrad, Slavyanka Simitchiiska.
The incident was reported to the inspectorate before noon. "The initial information was about a person who fell from a forklift,", Simitchiyska pointed out.
An inspection team is currently conducting an on-site inspection. The incident took place in a workshop for processing rock materials in Dolno Dryanovo, Garmen municipality, owned by the dead man's brother.
Repairs have been made to a forklift that left and in all probability ran him over, but interviews with witnesses are pending.
