The Supreme Administrative Court rejected as unfounded the request of Andrey Gyurov to suspend the legally permitted preliminary execution of the decision of July 16, 2024 of the Management Board of the BNB, which has been removed from office. This is reported by BNT.
The decision is subject to appeal with a private appeal before a five-member panel of the Supreme Court within 7 days of its notification to the parties, and the case is to be heard on the merits on August 2, Friday at 11:00 a.m.
The Supreme Magistrates accept that the suspension of the execution of the powers of the deputy governor is by its nature a temporary measure which is imposed exceptionally under certain conditions and for a certain period of time – after the entry into force of the appealed administrative act and sending it to the competent authority for early release, pending the adoption of a decision on release, based on the argument of Art. 14, para. 2, ex. 3rd paragraph of Art. 12, para. 2 ZBNB -1997
