DPS, supporting Ahmed Dogan, came out with a position, in which he expresses support for President Rumen Radev's decision not to sign a decree appointing the interim government of Gorica Grancharova.
The position of DPS-Dogan is that there should be no dependence on Delyan Peevski in the interim government.
"We accept the president's refusal to issue a decree for a government of Mrs. Kozhareva with Minister of Internal Affairs Kalin Stoyanov given his considerations that this creates political tension in a pre-election situation. Such a position was expressed by a number of the political forces represented in the parliament, including us - DPS (without Peevski and group), before the issuance of the decree for Prime Minister for Mrs. Kozhareva.
The most important task of the caretaker government is to organize fair, free and democratic elections. But it is also important that the election campaign takes place in a calm environment. And this clearly cannot be done with the Minister of Internal Affairs named by Mrs. Kozhareva. After the President's address to the Parliament to do what is necessary to complete, as far as possible in the short time available, the list of possible candidates for Prime Minister according to the "home book", the National Assembly has the serious responsibility to do this. We from the DPS (without Peevski and group) hope that we will all live up to our responsibility and not allow the creation of a constitutional crisis", the position says.
