In dozens of schools in the country, renovation works are still in full swing, even though by the beginning of the school year less than a month left.
The main renovation of the building of the Vocational High School of Construction, Architecture and Computer Science in Montana and the dormitory attached to the school has been going on for almost a year now. This reminds me of "New TV".
„The floor is currently being finished in connection with laying the sports flooring. In the dormitory, things are 80% ready. I can't say that things have slowed down there, but the volume of repair work is very large, because the building is being rebuilt”, explained Krasimira Krasteva – dir. of PGSAKN “Prof. arch. Stefan Stefanov“.
That is why nearly 400 students will not be able to enter the high school on September 16. They will use the building of another school.
„I sincerely hope that by the end of October, the repair works will be completely finished in the educational complex and we will be able to return. This is the desire of both students, parents and the school team, added Krasteva.
For 60 years, the high school in Montana has not been repaired. Now the roof is done, the classrooms have been renovated, the corridors, a new installation has been built and the building has been renovated.
„There are minimal things left such as painting, finishing the ground floor plaster and adjustments for letting the site. And let's hope that everything will be ok by September 15, said Georgi Tsvetkovski - head of the repair works.
Renovations at the Finance and Business High School in Montana continued for six months. There, they are just waiting for permission to start the school year in the renovated building. Construction of a new sports hall in the school yard is also in the works.
„But we have the assurance of the competent authorities that the area will be secured and this would not be an obstacle to continue the learning process on the school's territory”, revealed Veselka Ivanova, director of FSPG “Vasil Levski”.
