In the early hours of the day, residents of Durankulak and Krapets witnessed an unusual natural phenomenon - a tornado that curled over the waters of the Black Sea. According to eyewitnesses, the water tornado lingered over the sea for approximately 10 minutes before dissipating without reaching land.
Lili Cholakova, one of the witnesses of the phenomenon, shared her impression on social networks: "He lingered for ten minutes. It looked a lot closer live, but before it reached land, it disintegrated." The photos she published caused interest and excitement among Internet users, who were amazed by the beauty and power of nature.
The tornado is not a typical phenomenon for the Black Sea, but it is not unprecedented either. Water tornadoes are more common during the summer months when the temperature conditions are suitable for their formation.
