" This election spiral could be deadly. "Green Movement" it had started on a party-oligarchic path. We failed in the attempt to make a democratic unification. We reached an agreement with some of the parties. We managed to make some core. In this spiral of elections, we have decided that for the first time in our 15-year history, we will skip these elections."
This is what Daniela Bozhinova, co-chair of the Green Movement, told BNR.
"If they were regular, there would be no such decision on our part. This spiral of elections can be deadly", she specified about her formation and expressed concern that the country "does not go down some unfashionable, non-European path".
"The party had started on this party-oligarchic path, which we see many of the systemic parties going. We will obviously not be spared any diseases of the parties. But we have always been distinguished by a stricter application of our principles, that is why it is more difficult for us to form a coalition", commented Daniela Bozhinova in the program "Before all".
Apparently, this crisis is due to a problem with democratic and party representation, which fails to represent the interests of Bulgarian citizens, she believes.
We had disagreements on key decisions in the previous coalition we participated in – PP-DB, Bojinova also pointed out.
