By order of the Minister of Defense Atanas Zapryanov on September 14, 15 and 16, 2024. have been announced as days of mourning in the Ministry of Defense, the Bulgarian Army and in the structures directly subordinated to the Minister of Defense.
As a mark of respect for the pilots Major Petko Dimitrov and Senior Lieutenant Ventsislav Dunkin, who died in the crash of an L-39ZA combat training aircraft, the holding of festive events is prohibited, and the planned ones are canceled, the Ministry of Defense announced.
The Ministry of Defense expresses its condolences to the relatives of the deceased.
