The pharmaceutical industry is gathering for an emergency meeting, NOVA reported.
The occasion is a project to amend and supplement the Law on Medicinal Products, proposed by the group of “Vazrazhdane”, which was adopted in the first reading. It is about a new way of selling medicines through vending machines, which aims to control the supply problem.
According to pharmacists, their introduction will not help. They believe it will even jeopardize patient safety and worsen their access to pharmaceutical care.
Their expectations are that the changes in the law will be aligned with their concerns and they also say that they are ready to protest.
