Friends, relatives and like-minded people of Vera Ivanova, creator of the movement "The system is killing us", are gathering in the Triangle of Power to honor her memory, bTV reported.
She died on September 17.

Vera Ivanova led a long-standing struggle against injustices in the social system.
She was part of the first protests of mothers of children with disabilities back in 2015. Three years later, for the first time, mothers wore black t-shirts with the inscription “The system is killing us” and launched several months of protests.
Their demands then were related to the introduction of a law on personal assistance and an increase in the rights of the Agency for People with Disabilities.
The MPs then passed legislative changes under pressure from the protesters.
